Dr. Sony Sierra, MD, FRCSC (OBGYN/REI)

Dr. Sierra is a Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility Specialist with nearly 20 years of experience. As Medical Director at EVOLVE Egg Freezing Clinic, she is also the Deputy Medical Director and Partner at TRIO and co-leads TRIO’s early Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL) program — the largest of its kind in Canada.

Dr. Sierra is an Associate Physician at Women’s College Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (REI) at the University of Toronto. She is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in both OB-GYN and Gynecologic Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. A Past President of CFAS (2022–2023) and active member of ASRM and ESHRE, she is deeply committed to staying at the forefront of her field.

Her research interests include fertility preservation, infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, implantation failure, and PCOS. Above all, Dr. Sierra is known for her gentle, compassionate approach.
